Enugu Police Confirm Explosion At President Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nwodo's House (Photo)

The country home of the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia John Nwodo at Ukehe in Enugu State has been bombed.

It was reported that an improvised explosive device was thrown into his house by unknown persons.

The explosion was said to have destroyed part of his building, shattering windows and ceiling of his house.

PoliticsNGR has confirmed that the explosion was a minor one. Below is a statement obtained from the Enugu state police command,

"Earlier this afternoon, there was a minor explosion at the Ukehe residents of the President of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo. The explosion had an impact on some parts of the house. We are already on ground at the scene of the incidence."
