On Sunday night, supporters and well-wishers flocked to the residence of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate Prof.Chukwuma Soludo in Isuofia, Aguata LGA, Anambra, to await the final election results.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the results of 19 of the state's 21 LGAs.
Soludo won 17 of the councils, with the PDP and YPP each claiming one.
According to the current vote tally, the former CBN governor is comfortably ahead of his opponents.
